Event Description:
There is a new drum circle in Chelsea. Organized by Ron
Robinson of the Lewis Latimer Society and Tony Smith
this free weekly circle held every Thursday (except
holidays when the school is closed) from 6:30 to 8:00pm
at the Williams School, 180 Walnut Street, Chelsea.
The acoustics in this room are excellent. Every sound in
the circle can be heard and felt. So if you are looking for a
break during the week to get your thoughts together and to
do some healing though drumming, plan on coming to
this weekly open drum circle!

In lieu of Valentine's Day, the Latimer Society is hosting a
"Have a Heart for Youth" fund raiser event. This fund raiser
will solely benefit the Project LEAD after-school youth
program. This event will feature live entertainment and
food, music and camaraderie, in addition to an auction.
